CHOCOLATE BALLS

Print

This chocolate balls recipe is a no-bake, no-cook, eggless recipe. The best thing I like about these chocolate balls is that they are so easy and quick to make, say about 10 minutes, and an absolute favourite with kids. Well…..not kids alone…I love to indulge in them. J Psst….dieters, please forgive me. These chocolate balls can be stored in air tight containers for upto a week.

Now, back to the ingredients and the recipe…..

Ingredients

  • 225 gms. Marie Biscuits (I have tried with rich tea biscuits as well)
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 3 tbsps. Cocoa powder
  • 1 tin Condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla essence
  • ½ cup Desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp. Butter, melted, to grease hands

Method

  • Lightly crumble the Marie biscuits.
  • In a grinder, grind the crumbled biscuits and sugar to very fine powder.
  • Then add in the cocoa powder and grind it again.
  • Put the powdered mix into a bowl and pour in the condensed milk.
  • Mix well with your hand and knead it into a soft ball.
  • Grease your hands with butter and simply pinch lemon sized balls from the dough and roll into balls.
  • Put desiccated coconut in a shallow plate and roll the balls in the desiccated coconut. You can also roll them in sprinkles or in chocolate strands…if you desire.
  • Enjoy yummy chocolate balls.
